About The Technology
- Panel heaters are convection heaters and provide warmth based on the principle of hot air attracting cool air over a large panel surface. Air is drawn over the element and rises up through the unit and out the top through vents. Panel heaters are typically wall mounted and provide efficient heating in lounges, hallways and bedrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How does an electronic (digital) thermostat work?
This heater has an electronic (digital readout) thermostat that can be set to a specific temperature.
The best way to set one is to set it to its maximum temperature and when the room reaches a temperature you are comfortable with, look at the display on the heater and then set the thermostat to that temperature. Then the heater will cycle on and off to maintain the level you have selected.Note that the thermostat is inside the heater so the area around the heater will be hotter than the rest of the room and the display will be reading higher than the actual room temperature.
How does the timer function work?
This heater features an electronic timer that allows you to set a period of time after which the heater will turn off. This is called a delay timer. If you want the heater to turn off after 3 hours, you would set the timer to 3h and when the 3 hours has elapsed the heater will turn off. You cannot set a specific time for the heater to turn off.
NOTE the heater needs to be plugged in to the wall socket with the power turned on for the timer to work.
Can I mount this heater on a wall?
Yes, this panel heater comes with a bracket on the back to be used for wall mounting. This helps save valuable floor space. This heater has been specifically safety tested to be mounted on the wall. Can I take off the wheels/castors on this heater?
Yes, you can remove the castor plates from this metal panel heater if you decide you want to wall mount it.
You may find that when the castor plates were installed, there were 1-way screws used which means you will not be able to use a screwdriver to remove them.
You may need to use a pair of pliers to unscrew them or failing that use a drill to remove the head of the screw and then you should be able to remove the castor plates. Remember to remove the remaining part of the screw as it will be sharp.
